About DGI REPteams
DGI REPteams are teams including the best gymnasts selected from their regions in Denmark.
DGI (Danish Gymnastics and Sports Associations) is a national association with 14 regional associations all over Denmark; each of these has a REPteam (Representative Team).
They are mixed teams comprising 50 percent girls and 50 percent boys; age limit for entering the team is 18 and upwards.
The teams participate in many gymnastics shows throughout the season – indoors as well as outdoors with tumbling and exercises on the trampoline and not least rhythmic exercises which they bring abroad on a tour once a year.
If you are REPteam gymnast you are unpaid and you study or work besides participating in exercises once a week or even in weekend workouts. In addition to being part of the team, members are also obliged to be active in a local gymnastics club.
The National Danish Performance Team is the top achievement of a REPteam gymnast in Denmark.
About DGI Sport & Culture Festival
Here you can bring your gymnastics team and be part of the energy at the biggest sport festival in Denmark.
DGI, Denmark’s Sport for all Federation, is the organization behind the renowned festival, which was held from June 29th through July 2nd 2017 in the city of Aalborg.
L2017 also known as “Landsstævnet” is a multi-sport event held every 4th year and joined by more than 25,000 participants. Gymnastics plays a vital and visible role in the festival and more than 12,000 gymnasts contribute to the atmosphere.

Gymnastics teams got two performances at outdoor floors, and you can experience several activities, workshops and events all over the host city.
