Hi and welcome to the Street Gymnastics Coach Guide
We hope you will support the Street Gymnastics spirit:
Play and have fun, girls and boys with mini games and music, remember to always warm up before tumbling.
Street Gymnastics is for all because it is a team sport.
It will be best when your team performs Tumbling/Trampoline/Acrobatic/Rhythmic/Dance/Hiphop etc.
in the same training/performance.
With and without equipment in the square, park, schoolyard, and street everywhere.
But it is up to you to determine how to do your street gymnastics training/performance in your neighborhood.
Safety at first, do not push the gymnast to do jumps they never had tried before.
Be inspired and share the training/tumbling instructor guide pdf/videos to new instructors.
All tumbling is at your own risk.
Spotting: (Spotter)
Street Gymnast International prefers spotters in every jump.
Every new jump must be handled with care, sometimes it may be necessary to physically assist a student to safely and more accurately perform a skill.
– This is known as spotting the skill –
1 or 2 spotters might be necessary for a new gymnast to help them to do the basics for tumbling especially for every jump like handstand, cartwheel, front/back handspring, sumersalto, frontflip, backflip etc.
All Tumbling Basics Guide is from Spring Sikker –
